An illusion
She laughs

In the black
He rises
As his shattered soul
Gently leaves this mortal world
A hollow man
Damned to walk this land
Forever
Forever alone
Betrayed by thoughts
Of a past life
Of the lie that is love
Forever in Pain

The falling man
The forgotten man
He waits
For the end
The end of it all
The illusion
The lie
No longer falling down
On his knees
For the laughter to end
To see the fears
To see the eyes filled with tears
To hear the cry
